FAQ
Question: If there’s no hardware
to buy, how are the cars scored?
Answer:
You give each car a number 1 – 10 (“0” is used for “10). Write it on a piece of tape or use a sticker
and stick the number on the car. As that
car passes the Start/Finish line, someone who is not racing presses the number
on the keyboard. Just switch off between
heats as to who will be the score keeper.
It’s a lot of fun to score the race and this keeps the cost very low
compared to the $100s and $1000s of dollars that can be charged for systems
requiring electronic components.
